My name is Tim de Graag and I am a Dutch architect. I am passionate about solid, clear and refined designs and I feel committed to an analytic and collaborative approach.
After growing up in a town near Eindhoven, the Netherlands, I studied architecture at the Technical University of Eindhoven. During my studies I followed a six-months internship at ‘Claus & Kaan architecten’ in Rotterdam. Shortly after I moved to Lisbon Portugal, where I studied at the Faculdade de Arquitectura. Back from a great year in Portugal I worked on a graduation project about the rehabilitation of the mainbuilding of the university of Eindhoven under supervision of Prof. Dipl-ing Christian Rapp & Ir. Ruurd Roorda. After finishing the design and an essay I passed my Master with distinction (‘Cum Laude’) in September 2013. In Berlin I finished a post-graduate master degree with a focus on restoration and rehabilitation in March 2015. During the first months of this year I worked for my former professor at Rapp+Rapp in Amsterdam as well, before starting a transformation project in Zierikzee. From August 2015 on I work part-time for the young upcoming Dutch office Reitsema & Partners architects.
